Makiyah is a dynamic and versatile athlete known for her power at the net and quick reflexes on defense. As both an outside hitter and defensive specialist, she brings intensity, precision, and heart to every play. Off the court, Makiyah is a creative spirit who enjoys making art, watching anime, and exploring all genres of music.

With a passion for both athletics and academics, Makiyah plans to study Exercise Science in college. Her long-term goal is to become a sports medicine physician, combining her love for sports with a drive to help others stay healthy and strong.

Whether she’s diving for a dig or sketching a new piece of art, Makiyah brings focus, energy, and determination to everything she does.

She is a member of the National Honor Society & Beta Club while maintaining a rigorous AP class schedule. She also served as an assistant coach at the YMCA to help young girls develop their volleyball skills.
